Who Else Wants to Find Xoom alternative to withdraw Paypal Funds
Just recently, my client was asking me how he can pay the 80% fee of website development project I worked for him. We tried different options and helped him choose the best service in which I can received his payment.
The first option he suggested was to send him an invoice through Paypal as a service fee, but he yielded when Paypal keep on denying his credit card for some reasons. He tried to send ticket to Paypal support to know the reason and ended asking me again for another option. Then I recommend him to use western union so I can received the money within that day.
My client is so impatience and begin to complain the inconveniences of sending project fee. While western union processing the transaction, he got this error “We cannot process your money transfer.
Sorry, that transaction is currently unavailable… “. I got hopeless and thought that it seems that he doesn’t have a credit card or maybe he really doesn’t want me to pay.
No, he should pay me 80% of the project fee and there should be an option on how to, and so I suggest him to add funds on Freelancer (where I won the project) through his credit card and transfer a milestone payment to my account.
Same problem occurred like on first option, that got my client pissed off again and told that he doesn’t want to spend couple of hours just to find out how he can pay my work. I didn’t tried to suggest moneygram as alternative, because I haven’t use that before. Instead, I asked my client if there are western union outlet on his area. Unfortunately, western union outlet in there area closes until 2 o’clock in the afternoon and he couldn’t go outside because he is so tired.
I never had a problem before in accepting project fees. The top two options which works best for me is Xoom.com and Paypal. Since Xoom stopped accepting Paypal as payment method to withdraw Paypal funds, I switched using Paypal again for accepting payment.
Until now, I could’nt find a service as alternative to Xoom.com. Other bloggers suggest to use payooner, but I am not yet sure how it works for a freelancer like me who don’t use Odesk.
Do you have any other suggestions for xoom alternative? Please let me know.
