Jailbreak is always on top for major iPhone devices. According to MuscleNerd’s Twitter account, Dev-team released a set of updated tools for an untethered jailbreak of iOS devices.
The new Redsn0w version is out to jailbreak those devices running officially iOS 4.3.1 but not the iPad 2 and Verizon iPhone 4. You can get the new version Redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 from the Dev-Team blog and it supports untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4 (GSM), iPhone 3GS, iPod 3G & 4G and the first generation iPad. The Apple TV jailbreak is done via Pwnage Tool.
For unlocking solution, ultrasn0w users are advised against updating until the new version is released in the coming days.
